Quebecor COO, Monique Leroux, To Leave for CEO Position

6/7/01 (WhatTheyThink.com) Sources confirm that Quebecor’s Chief Operating Officer will leave the company and become CEO of a Canadian financial company. Monique Leroux had only been with Quebecor for one year but a source said she could not pass on the opportunity.
A spokesman at Desjardins-Laurentian said Monique Leroux will “join the company as soon as possible, hopefully no later than the end of summer.” Desjardins-Laurentian is part of Mouvement Desjardins which is a financial company in Canada.
