London Litho CEO Honored by NAGASA

Press release from the issuing company

Lincolnwood, Illinois, May 2001 Eric London, president and CEO of London Litho, was honored at the 2001 annual meeting of the North American Graphic Arts Suppliers Association (NAGASA) in Miami, Florida, where he received the association s Mullen award.  The NAGASA Mullen award is presented annually to the individual who best exemplifies a standard of excellence in the graphic arts distribution channel through professional integrity, business leadership, vision for the channel, and looking beyond individual interests to advance the channel.  London was honored for his pioneering efforts in transforming London Litho from a traditional graphic arts supplies distributor to become the foremost reseller and integrator of imaging systems, prepress and pressroom consumables, and value-added services to the printing, converting and graphic design industries. London Litho has long been active in NAGASA and its predecessor organizations.  London Litho was first honored by NAGASA in 1996, when the company was the first to receive the NAGASA Innovator Award, to recognize innovative practices in the graphic communications channel.  In 1997, the association recognized Melvyn London, founder of London Litho, with its Lifetime Achievement Award, noting his more than 50 years in the industry.  In 1998, shortly after Melvyn London s death, that award was designated the Melvyn London Award for Lifetime Achievement. In accepting the award at the 2001 meeting, Eric London commented: This award recognizes not an individual, but the efforts of the more than 130 London Litho employees across the Midwest, each of whom has made a major contribution to our continued success.  London Litho is proud to have been a part of the graphic arts business and NAGASA for many years, and we look forward to bringing the latest technologies to our customers as the industry evolves.
