130 Million Magazines, Donnelley Earns Contract Renewal With Time Inc.

CHICAGO, May 22, 2001 - R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company [NYSE: DNY] has renewed its contract with Time Inc. to print People, Time and Sports Illustrated magazines through 2006.
R.R. Donnelley's Torrance, Calif., manufacturing facility prints and binds the magazines for readers on the West Coast, including western Canada, Alaska and Hawaii. Each week, the facility ships more than 2.6 million copies of People, Time and Sports Illustrated.

The three titles People, Time and Sports Illustrated consistently rank among the top five magazines in advertising revenue, according to 2001 Publishers Information Bureau monthly statistics.
