Press release from the issuing company
With exhibitors rushing to confirm their attendance at Packaging Innovations & Empack, significant brand names confirming their attendance, and a speaking line-up to rival all others, organisers are reporting increased demand for February's two-day exhibition.
Packaging Innovations & Empack will return to Birmingham's NEC on 21 & 22 February, with organiser Easyfairs reporting 'significant demand' for what promises to be another red-letter day for the packaging sector.
Early indications suggest that the largest annual event in the UK, which catalyses an impressive display of the latest innovations to light up the packaging sector, is likely to grow in size and scale once again. Organisers are already predicting the two-day showpiece will attract a bumper crowd, with hundreds of the world's biggest suppliers and thousands of brands, designers, packaging developers, marketers, founders and buyers expected to descend on Birmingham's NEC.
Confirmed brands such as Asda, Aldi, Diageo, DHL, Costa Coffee, KFC, Sainsbury's, Molson Coors, Tesco, Superdrug, Unilever, Hovis, Waitrose, Oh Polly, Nestle, Unilever, Britvic and Iceland will walk the show, exploring a diverse array of suppliers offering a comprehensive range of packaging products and services, spanning from design to cutting-edge primary and secondary packaging, contract packing, e-commerce fulfilment, labelling and printing, and advanced packing and processing technology.
And so it's little wonder the likes of Huhtamaki, Quality Pack Ltd, Coveris, AstroNova®, Berry Global, Schur® Star Systems, Expack, and Graphic Packaging International have already secured their respective places among 400 exhibitors.
"Packaging Innovations & Empack is the UK's flagship packaging event for a good reason," said Naomi Stewart, Marketing Manager for Easyfairs. "After record registrations, thousands of visitors, and glowing feedback from last year's event, we've seen a real rush from exhibitors to secure their place at the 2024 event. And with a really strong contingent of big-name brands emerging, it has the makings of a fantastic two days."
"Not only will it spark creativity in the packaging sector for 2024 and beyond, Packaging Innovations & Empack comprehensively addresses every facet of the packaging journey, uniting a range of experts from diverse industries," said Event Director Renan Joel.
"Engaging presentations by industry professionals on three distinct stages, coupled with the Future Trailblazer awards honouring individuals driving creativity and the Packaging Showcase celebrating those pioneering innovations, will provide attendees with unparalleled insights.
"Packaging Innovations and Empack will also offer ample opportunity to network, discuss the latest developments to grow your business, showcase your products and cultivate high-quality leads."
Having already confirmed leading voice on innovation and creative thinking, Ben Edmonds, Beer52 Founder Fraser Doherty MBE, Honest Burgers Co-Founder Tom Barton, and Zero waste pioneer and founder of Unpackaged, Catherine Conway, on what promises to be another stellar speaking line-up, visitors can expect tangible advice that they wouldn't be able to get anywhere else.
