On May 23, 2001, the General Assembly of Shareholders approved the proposed stock split of 1:10 and the change of the company's name to Amazys Holding AG. The listing of the new shares with a nominal value of CHF 3.00 at the SWX Swiss Exchange under the name of Amazys Holding AG has been approved by SWX. Effective May 23, 2001 the new shares will be traded under securities number 1 234 182, ticker symbol AMSN and ISIN number CH0012341829. After the split, managed by Zƒrcher Kantonalbank, Amazys Holding AG (formerly Gretag-Macbeth Holding AG) will have an unchanged share capital of CHF 9,468,750 divided into 3,156,250 shares with a nominal value of CHF 3.00 each. GretagMacbeth shares will be ex-changed for Amazys Holding AG shares beginning May 23 through June 22, 2001. The last tra-ding day of the old GretagMacbeth shares with a nominal value of CHF 30.00 each will be May 22, 2001 after which date they will be delisted.
