5/20/01 - Leaf Products, CreoScitex, a division of Creo Products Inc. and Calumet have reached a partnership agreement to provide Leaf digital photography solutions to the U.K. photographic and pre-press markets. Through this agreement, Calumet, a global leader in innovative digital photography solutions, will distribute the full range of Leaf products through its Calumet Digital Solutions (CDS) division. These include Leaf Cantare, Leaf Cantare XY, Leaf Volare and the newly announced digital large format solution. Calumet have also been chosen to distribute the advanced Leaf C-Most digital camera back previewed at Photokina and due to be launched this summer. Yossi Sufrin, general manager of Leaf Europe stated, "We are very excited at this alliance with Calumet. Calumet's in-depth understanding of the photographers' needs, as well as the company's expertise in delivering solutions to the imaging market will create a new force to serve the demands of a growing digital photographic market in Europe." Andy Morris, newly appointed CEO of Calumet Europe says, "We are delighted at the opportunity to work with Leaf. The Leaf name is recognised as one of the premier names in digital camera manufacture. The comprehensive range of high performance Leaf cameras is a strong complement to the existing CDS product portfolio and will expand further our ability to create innovative imaging solutions. The aim of the partnership is also to provide the best in service and support to all existing and new Leaf users." This agreement is effective from May 1st 2001.
