Packaging Innovations & Empack is now open for registrations, with organisers Easyfairs already reporting heightened initial interest in the must-see 2024 event.
Taking place on the 21 & 22 February 2024, the event will once again provide an unrivalled platform to those looking to showcase innovative products, services, and solutions to some of the world's most iconic FMCG brands, online retailers and key players, for whom innovation and sustainability are high on the agenda. The two events promise to deliver a unique perspective on the entire packaging journey.
"It’s about recognising valuable ideas and enabling all stakeholders to get hands-on with some of the most cutting-edge solutions in the marketplace, including the latest sustainable developments,” said Naomi Stewart, Marketing Manager at Easyfairs.
In addition to hosting its popular networking areas, agenda-setting talks theatres, and hundreds of exhibitors on the show floor, 2024’s showcase again includes the Foodservice packaging zone, developed in collaboration with the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA).
The event has already attracted a huge influx of interest from leading packaging and technology suppliers after the hugely successful relocation of London Packaging Week last month. More than 330 suppliers will be present to exhibit their innovations to an expected audience of over 6,500 visitors, providing packaging solutions for a range of industries, including food and beverage, food service, FMCG, beauty and personal care, and pharmaceuticals.
“At this event, you'll find suppliers spanning the entire spectrum of packaging products and services,” added Stewart. “From cutting-edge design to innovative primary and secondary packaging, contract packing to e-commerce fulfilment, labelling and printing to packing and processing technology – we've got it all covered!
“Once again, many of the products on show will be informed by key industry drivers rooted in sustainability, supply chains and fulfilment, alternative materials and barriers, and advanced technology.
“It really is the perfect platform to craft the future of your brand. From our networking bar and the ability to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas and build valuable relationships, to our Foodservice Packaging Zone, which focuses on the on-the-go sector, and the Future Trailblazer’s Awards, it is no wonder people see it as THE event to propel the sector into 2024 and beyond.”
Tim Dorsett from Innocent Drinks said: “With anything like this and taking any product to market, it’s really important to get like-minded individuals together to share and learn. Nobody is trying to be the best thing; they’re all trying to adapt to the world and make the world a better place. Having so many experts and future experts in any industry, especially packaging and design, getting them together is really important for the future of sustainable packaging.”
“This is the leading show for our industry and it’s a fantastic opportunity for us to come and meet our customers, our suppliers and the whole supply chain, to showcase what we’re doing and to see what everybody else is doing,” added Will Mercer, BU Paper R&D Director, Coveris.
“I’ve been in this industry for 41 years and this is now the leading event. We’re constantly developing new products and we’re a multi-platform company; this allows us to come and showcase everything on one stand with a lot of attendees.”
Organiser Easyfairs intends to make several exciting announcements about the 2024 edition in the coming weeks. So, those looking to unlock the full potential of packaging are advised to register their interest in attending today.
