OneVision Showcasing Powerful Automation Software at PRINTING United 2023

Press release from the issuing company

At this year’s Printing United, OneVision is spotlighting the power of connecting and automating production processes – a key to greater efficiency and production reliability for print service providers. In addition to its own booth (B1309), the software manufacturer will also be featured with working stations at Canon U.S.A., Inc. (B4033)

Woburn/Atlanta. From October 18 to 20, the global printing industry will gather in Atlanta to explore the latest innovations, applications and trends. To set the right course for growth and achieve cost control, automation continues to be a major topic. ”Printing United is a great event to connect with print businesses from all over the U.S. and around the world. The show gives print service providers the opportunity to discuss with us their current business operations and needs, and provide insight into how they can not only survive, but thrive with automation.” explains David Lunardi, Vice President of Sales OneVision, Inc.

Automating production processes

OneVision Software enables automation of production processes. Across a wide range of print segments – e.g. book, commercial, label and wide format printing – the software ensures cost savings, increased quality, reduction of production times as well as more flexible and dynamic processes. As a modular middleware, the software can be connected to any system and drives print process automation from prepress, press to postpress.

Innovative station concept for production control and tracking

Along with worldwide proven automation solutions, visitors can also look forward to the latest developments of the software manufacturer – a newly designed station concept. With this, print service providers can map and control their entire production flow completely digitally. Employees can be guided by instructions or supplied with information at the respective work steps. It also allows feedback and status updates to be provided, which makes real-time tracking of the production status possible.

Software meets hardware

By integrating OneVision middleware software into their various systems and machines, print service providers can create seamless workflows to increase machine utilization and throughput. To see an example of how this works, a working station will be set up at the Canon U.S.A., Inc. booth demonstrating an automated preparation of production files for printing, finishing and embellishment. Creation of barcodes and leading print form creation technology (e.g. nesting/ganging, impose) are, amongst others, some of the highlights that will be featured.

At Printing United 2023, OneVision's booth B1309 will be the place to stop by and learn more about automation and a future-proven print production.
