Press release from the issuing company
Denver – PrintReleaf, the industry leader in sustainable solutions for printers and packaging companies, is excited to announce the launch of three new reforestation projects on three different continents. The initiatives in Malaysia, Tanzania, and California (Lassen) mark a significant step forward in the company's commitment to positive global environmental impact via reforestation for restoration efforts, and Malaysia represents their first reforestation project in Asia.
These new projects, managed by two of PrintReleaf’s leading certified forestry partners, One Tree Planted and Plant With Purpose, provide PrintReleaf's partners and their customers with additional geographic locations in which to make a positive contribution to the environment while offsetting their forest impact. By expanding reforestation efforts to additional regions, PrintReleaf enhances its ability to foster sustainability commitments on a global scale.
PrintReleaf customers offset their paper and fiber-based materials (e.g. packaging and labels) consumption with certified, automated reforestation and carbon offsets, and have the opportunity to choose from projects around the world that best align with their company’s goals. Each PrintReleaf project addresses multiple United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals such as: No Poverty, Clean Water and Sanitation, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Climate Action.
"We are thrilled to introduce these new reforestation projects in Malaysia, Tanzania, and California," said Jordan Darragh, PrintReleaf Founder and CEO. "This expansion not only amplifies the opportunities for our customers to drive positive environmental change but also reinforces PrintReleaf's dedication to listening to customer feedback.” Asia has become a new focus for some multinational partners, and with many partners in North America, there is a lot of interest in US-based projects, so the California (Lassen) post-wildfire restoration project holds important meaning. Tanzania will address the continued interest in reforestation projects in Africa, following the successful completion of a project in Madagascar - a testament to the collaborative efforts of PrintReleaf’s valued partners.
All of PrintReleaf’s projects are designated for restoration efforts, intended to grow and sustain for generations. PrintReleaf ensures that customers’ environmental goals are met with certified services that adhere to the highest standards.
