Esko to Demonstrate How Digitization Can Help Pharma Packaging Producers Win Big in Vegas at PACK EXPO

Press release from the issuing company

Company returns to specialist Healthcare Packaging Pavilion for September event

Esko will demonstrate how its digital solutions can ensure pharma packaging producers win big at this year’s PACK EXPO International in Las Vegas, when the company returns to the event’s specialist Healthcare Packaging Pavilion.

The global provider of integrated software and hardware solutions will be at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 11-13 September, showcasing how its solutions help pharma packaging providers digitize, connect and accelerate processes to simplify and speed up the go-to-market process of pharmaceutical goods.

“The consequences for mistakes in pharma packaging can literally be deadly,” explained Jackie Leslie, Category Specialist – Life Sciences with Esko. “Risk mitigation is non-negotiable. The efficient creation and modification of label content and artwork is crucial, and in order to ensure artwork is totally accurate it must be easily shared and traceable throughout the process.

“Similarly, with a literally mind-boggling amount of content that needs including, we know that the way in which that content is managed can make a huge difference to a company’s bottom line,” she said. “At this year’s PACK EXPO, we will demonstrate how an efficient content management process ensures accuracy, compliance, and patient safety, while delivering the productivity boost that ensures users win big with their customers.

“We will spotlight how our solutions for pharma have been developed specifically to deliver Structured Content Management in a way that can boost packaging production,” said Jackie. “We’ll show how we can help businesses in complying with regulatory requirements when creating, modifying, approving and managing pharmaceutical labeling content.”

Jackie said the Esko team will be on-hand to discuss solutions for artwork and content management, structural and 3D packaging design, and even palletization - to improve logistics, transportation costs and environmental impact - at this year’s PACK EXPO.

“Working alongside top pharma companies, Esko has developed a deep appreciation for the constraints and demands of the regulatory process and the need to get packaging right the first time, every time,” she said. “We understand the challenges imposed on the industry. That’s why with Esko Structured Content Management, pharma companies can reduce the risk of errors, promote efficiency through content reuse, and track changes for IFUs, leaflets, and other documents for submission to regulatory bodies, massively improving efficiency and boosting their overall productivity.”

PACK EXPO International showcases packaging and processing solutions for every industry, hosts educational sessions, and provides numerous networking opportunities for attendees. From 11-13 September 2023, Esko will be in the pharmaceutical company-centric Healthcare Packaging Pavilion at the event, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada.
