The full-service print provider recently used Drytac ReTac Textures Canvas to create an eye-catching wallcovering to provide the backdrop for a unique wardrobe experience in the city of Bath.
Bristol, UK: Full service print provider Minuteman Press Bath recently used Drytac ReTac Textures Canvas film to produce a colourful wallcovering for a new wardrobe experience in the historic English city of Bath.
Branded as the ‘Georgrobe’, the event invited local residents and visitors to view a display of satirical prints about the fashions of the Georgian period, as well as offering them the chance to dress up in historic costumes, wigs and hats for an authentic experience of life in a bygone era.
Minuteman Press Bath was tasked with printing a large, Bath-inspired wall mural, which, designed by local artists Emma Taylor and Jason Dorley Brown, would provide the backdrop for the seasonal event at the famous No.1 Royal Crescent in the city.
A regular user of Drytac materials since 2018, Minuteman Press Bath opted for Drytac ReTac Textures Canvas, purchased from Antalis, to produce the ceiling-to-floor mural.
The provider printed the design onto the film using its HP Latex 700W and installed the wallcovering in time for the opening day of the event on 1 April.
“We decided to use Drytac ReTac Textures Canvas as we really like this product,” Minuteman Press Bath Operations Manager Kieran Blacknall said. “It is easy to install and performs well, while the canvas texture always impresses and distinguishes the media from traditional, flat vinyl.
“The customer thought that the mural was absolutely amazing, and it has received a lot of coverage in the local press and on social media, despite having only been in place for a matter of weeks.”
