Curing Wood Coatings with UV LEDs
UV LED curing offers lower operating costs, enhanced system capabilities due to being a solid-state device, and significant environmental benefits. Traditional mercury UV lamps generate a tremendous amount of heat, requiring both a significant amount of electricity and cumbersome air-handling infrastructure to operate.

By replacing the mercury UV lamps with UV LED curing systems, customers have experienced energy savings of up to 85 percent.

The Phoseon FireJet™ FJ200SLD (air-cooled) and FireLine™ FL400SLD (water-cooled) UV LED curing systems come with a sealing feature that significantly advances the coating process. An innovative manufacturing process results in a tighter seal between the window’s glass and the window frame, making the lamps more resistant to dust and resin intrusion, and ultimately, more reliable.

Phoseon air-cooled products come equipped with patented TargetCure™ technology that provides users with precise and predictable UV output. TargetCure Technology continually monitors the lamp’s efficiency and adjusts output as it ages, providing stable output for a longer period of time. This translates directly to increased process stability, higher productivity, thereby improving profitability.
