Press release from the issuing company
WOODSTOCK, GA — Lithec, a global leader of inline color control and inspection systems for the graphic communications industry, will be exhibiting at the Print UV Conference on May 2-4, 2023, at the Encore by Wynn Las Vegas Resort in Las Vegas, NV. The Print UV Conference brings together UV print technology experts from around the world and focuses on UV and LED UV printing.
“The content presented at the Print UV Conference aligns with our overall message of the importance of maintaining print and color consistency in the printing process,” states Lithec USA President, Clyde Tillman. “The peer-oriented nature of the conference allows for a fantastic information exchange that provides just as much value as the program presented.”
DJ Cabler, a print expert from WestRock Corporation, will headline the presentation “Consistency and Control with Chemicals and Color: A Panel Discussion on Controlling a Printing Environment Across Multiple Platforms and Locations”. Print specialists responsible for quality improvements at plants throughout North America, the Caribbean, and parts of Europe will share how they achieve high-quality consistency from job to job and press to press.
“Inline color control on a printing press is becoming the new norm in maintaining color consistency from plant to plant and press to press,” states Cabler. “Inline color control eliminates the need to manually measure color bars at the press console by reading the color bar on every sheet and automatically making ink-key adjustments as sheets leave the last printing unit, running live.”
LithoFlash inline color-control retrofits on printing presses built by Heidelberg, Koenig & Bauer, Komori, Manroland, Mitsubishi, RMGT (RYOBI) as well as other manufacturers and is available on all new machines as well. LithoFlash is field upgradeable on existing presses or installed on new presses at about half the price of comparable OEM solutions. Worldwide, Lithec has installed over 350 units between being installed on new press sales as well as retrofitting existing presses.
