Press release from the issuing company
ECOLINE and CHROME machines are now sold and supported directly through ROTOCON Europe
CAPE TOWN, South Africa—ROTOCON has expanded its European team based near Hamburg, Germany with the appointment of André Klinkow as Chief Operations Officer Europe; Cornelia Steinroex as Management Assistant; and Markus Lübcke, responsible for Service, Technical Support, Software & Engineering.
This team expansion was made to provide sales and support of ECOLINE and CHROME finishing machines in Europe and North America directly through ROTOCON Europe, as the brands are no longer represented by Rotocontrol and EMT International. ROTOCON will continue to locally support customers in South Africa through its headquarters in Cape Town and branches in Johannesburg and Durban.
Klinkow brings over 30 years experience in the printing industry with plant management and sales executive roles, and will lead the ROTOCON Europe team and ECOLINE/CHROME sales across Europe and North America.
Steinroex’s expertise in office and service management and strong familiarity of the printing industry will contribute to supporting the team and customers. Lübcke has 15+ years experience in automation technology in special machine construction and 10+ years experience from the label industry, where he worked as a department manager, electrical engineer, commissioning engineer, and software engineer.
“It is a pleasure to welcome André, Cornelia, and Markus to the ROTOCON Europe team,” said Michael Aengenvoort, ROTOCON Group CEO. “Their combined experience and expertise will be valuable in supporting our European and North American ECOLINE/CHROME customers with their equipment.
“We thank Rotocontrol and EMT International for their years of representing the ECOLINE range of finishing machines in Europe and North America.”
ROTOCON started developing its economy line of finishing equipment in 2013 and officially launched the ECOLINE range in South Africa in early 2017 to meet the technology investment needs of smaller labelling operations and start-up ventures with the highest possible specifications and competitive pricing.
The range of ROTOCON’s CHROME printing and finishing equipment was launched in 2022 to provide customers with greater customisability and modular upgrade options. ECOLINE and CHROME machines are produced in the China–Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) area, with design changes and production managed by Michael Wang, Managing Director and shareholder of ROTOCON Asia.
ROTOCON Europe plans to open a facility in Hamburg to provide local ECOLINE and CHROME machine demonstrations and factory acceptance testing of purchased equipment.
