Enfocus to Demonstrate Power of PitStop for Wide Format Printers at ISA International Sign Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Leading print industry software developer, Enfocus, is to exhibit its suite of wide format validation and automation solutions at the ISA International Sign Expo in Las Vegas.

Those joining Enfocus at the event between April 12-14 will be able to experience PitStop, the gold standard for PDF preflighting and editing software, and the powerful suite of features it offers to wide format printers.

The Gent-based developer will also be revealing Enfocus Griffin – previously tilia labs Griffin – which was recently acquired by Enfocus’s parent company, Esko. Griffin adds a powerful all-in-one shape nesting tool to Enfocus’s already impressive portfolio of wide format solutions.

Looking ahead to the event, Davy Verstaen, Product Manager at Enfocus said: “The expression ‘time is money’ is more true now than it ever has been. Wide format and sign printers need to action more jobs more quickly, without letting quality standards drop by even the smallest amount – and all while using fewer resources. The only solution to this problem is automation, which – as we’ll demonstrate on the booth – can save thousands of hours of manual work over the course of the year, with only a very small investment.

“PitStop has been the leading solution for sign printers for over 25 years now, and we’ll let attendees experience the latest version for themselves. This version enables users to automate quality checks and corrections for bleed, resolution, conversion of color spaces, cut path correction and more. It also enables easy production file preparation such as banner preparation, automatically adding grommets or eyelets, technical marks for finishing, and roll-up preparation so the print file is ready for production.”

PitStop Pro was first launched in 1997 and has been the premier PDF validation tool ever since. It automatically detects common errors in PDF files, enabling printers to develop automation solutions for time-consuming, repetitive prepress fixes such flattening layers, deleting invisible objects, and transforming black to full color black.

The ISA International Sign Expo is one of the world’s leading events for sign, wide format, and 3D printers, bringing together industry experts from across the world, printers, design agencies, and sign companies under the same roof. This year’s event will be held at the world-famous Mandalay Bay Convention Center on the Las Vegas Strip.

Davy Verstaen added: “Whether you’re a wide format printing novice or you’ve been using our solutions for years and want to know how you can squeeze a little more productivity out of them, please drop by our stand. You can find us at booth 1057.”
