CAP Ventures Launches Network Document Solutions Consulting Service in Europe
Press release from the issuing company
(Luton, UK) 19, April, 2001...CAP Ventures, Ltd. today announced the creation of a new business unit to serve the document digitalization and network delivery markets in Europe. The Network Document Solutions Consulting Service - Europe (NDSE) offers its clients market forecasts on the software in the business process of managing documents and document workflow. This software is a major competitive advantage to differentiate one vendor's product from another, and will become increasingly a major factor in purchase decisions.
"The industry is evolving in a new direction. The new breed of vendor, selling products with any combination of copy, print and scan functions, understand that they are not capable of competing on hardware alone. The factor tha now differentiates products is the software. This is a combination of internal (embedded) software to create the systems as well as drivers, utilities and monitoring software. Our mission with developing NDSE is to help the new profile buyer, both traditional buyer and IT manager, understand the solutions in the marketplace, and also help the vendor to understand the needs of the customers to capture this opportunity in an effective, structured manner. Vendors are more than the traditional hardware companies. They include added value software providers and suppliers of the network and distribution infrastructure," commented Roger Riseley, Group Director, European Operations.
NDSE consists of two major components: market analysis/reporting and consulting services. Service deliverables include end-user research and case studies, executive reports, a semi-annual industry MFP connectivity compendium report, an annual five-year market forecast, competitive economic models, news, white papers and more. Consulting services include on-site presentations and reviews, direct access to analysts, and custom engagements such as business planning, sales training, focus groups, custom data gathering tools, and primary market research.
