For the sixth time, WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH, an internationally renowned manufacturer of varnishes, inks and adhesives for the graphic arts industry, invited its worldwide sales partners to its biennial Worldwide Partners Meeting on January 26, 2023. Once again, the meeting took place virtually.
As a platform, the company used again the Virtual Meeting & Exhibition Tool of VRtual X GmbH. Arno Dürr, Sales Manager of WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH, commented: "We used this platform for the first time at our Virtual Drupa 2021 and were delighted with the range of functions. In addition to the various virtual rooms, which we use for background information on our current topics, we particularly like the auditorium - as a stage for our live presentations - and the extensively equipped networking area. In this area, personal conversations between our visitors/partners and employees can also be organized, which makes the tool a real substitute for real meetings. But also an extensive group chat, private chats as well as a survey tool are included and we like to use them very much to involve our meeting participants as actively as possible in our events and to get valuable feedback."
Bastian Pinsenschaum, Head of Technical Services at the company adds, "Already two years ago after our Virtual Drupa, which had to be held online due to the pandemic, we invited our worldwide partners to our first virtual partner meeting afterwards. And the feedback was excellent. Not only were our partners all very positively impressed by the technical possibilities, but they also saved an enormous amount of time and money in traveling around the world and spending the night at our site. An unbeatable advantage of these online meetings to real events. And incidentally also excellent for the environment by reducing the need for such business travel."
The company's global trading and distribution partners attended this year's virtual WPM'23 meeting from Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates.

Günter Korbacher, Managing Director of WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH on the subject: "Through regular and intensive exchange with our worldwide partners, we want above all to maintain our well-known high level of customer service at the highest possible global level. It goes without saying that our partners are not only responsible for the distribution of our extensive product range in their sales regions, but also represent WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH in all matters relating to our technical support worldwide. They therefore serve as our direct communication channel in their respective national language to our customers worldwide and help us to overcome often existing language barriers. Therefore, it is of enormous advantage if our partners are trained by us as optimally as possible and are also informed about current market situations by us at regular intervals. Especially due to our enormous investments in new and worldwide leading production plants for water-based and UV products in the last years, and the associated higher production capacities and extended product portfolios, a comprehensive exchange with our partners is enormously important. We are also currently converting our product numbering system and, in line with this - and to make this process as simple as possible for our customers and partners - we are delivering our new Service App. Of course, all this needs to be explained down to the smallest detail and the handling needs to be trained. Regular partner meetings are ideal for this purpose and we are very pleased that they are excellently received and attended by our partners." Günter Korbacher concludes: "Of course, we are also pleased about the numerous feedbacks of our partners from these meetings, we evaluate them and let them flow into our product and quality management. It is not unusual for such meetings to reveal new market requirements for different economic regions, which we can then translate into ne w solutions and products. So, of course, we also always learn a lot of new things from our partner meetings and can continue to grow from them."
