Design Pool, LLC. Launches Mapping Library to Use in Renderings

Press release from the issuing company

Design Pool recently launched their new mapping library for interior designers. This feature allows designers to download Design Pool patterns to use in 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Revit, and Chief Architect.

With this new mapping library, Design Pool is making it even easier for interior designers to source materials in a new, more sustainable, on-demand way. First, this tool gives designers access to over 700 patterns from the Design Pool library to use in their renderings. This lets them show their clients exactly what they are planning at every stage of the process. Then, thanks to Design Pool’s partnerships with digital printers, they can order that exact product right from the printer. Printing partners offer various products and substrates, such as vinyl flooring, wallcovering, upholstery, window films, and more. All orders are digitally printed and on-demand. Colors can even be customized to match a palette perfectly.

Access to this new mapping library is available through a subscription. The basic plan is $49.99 a year and allows eight downloads a week for as long as your subscription is active. The basic plan is perfect for students, independent designers, or anyone who wants to test the service with minimal commitment. The professional plan is $99.99 annually and allows for twenty downloads a week. This option is suitable for smaller design studios, large firms, or any designer who wants a lot of options to work with.

Interior designers being able to show precisely what they are planning to specify means clients don’t have to visualize what a room will look like. They will see it exactly. This level of specificity helps eliminate any surprises down the road, which inevitably cause frustration and ultimately cost money.

Based in East Hampstead, New Hampshire, Design Pool is the only pattern library created exclusively for interior designers, with a focus on commercial interior markets. They partner with digital printers using the latest print-on-demand technology to make customizing accessible to interior designers. Interior Design Magazine has named Design Pool’s Cryptology Collection a 2021 HiP Award Winner and their Invisible Threads collection a 2022 HiP Awards Honoree.
