The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI) has announced the dates and locations for their 2023 quarterly workshops.
GCLI members will meet March 15-16 at the O’Hare Hilton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Site of the initial GCLI workshop in March, 2021 the O’Hare Hilton enables many travel options and the convenience of easy access. Workshop topics will focus on operational excellence, work- flow efficiency and capacity utilization.
The May 31-June 1 session will be hosted by Ricoh at their world-class facility in scenic Boulder, Colorado. GCLI members will be treated to a comprehensive tour of Ricoh’s Premier Customer and Executive Briefing Center consisting of two key components that together drive sales enablement in production print.
Ricoh’s Graphic Communications Executive Briefing Team will display their entire production portfolio. Utilizing a “voice of the customer” methodology, the team will share valuable insights and Ricoh solutions.
Ricoh’s Graphic Communications Production Team will provide customized proof of concepts and tailored hardware demonstrations. Lead by a group of Subject Matter Experts, aligned with Ricoh’s Solutions Engineers, the production team brings valuable technical insights across the Ricoh Production Portfolio.
The afternoon workshop will focus on recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, an enduring challenge for graphic communications companies.
Atlanta is the site for the October, 19-20 workshop, hosted by GCLI member Jake Wallace and his colleagues at Wallace Graphics. The Atlanta location will provide members the opportunity to attend the Printing United Trade Show, set for October 18-20 at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. The afternoon workshop will focus on accelerating business growth including strategic account development and growth through acquisition.
The fourth and final workshop for 2023 is set for November 29-30 in Baltimore, Maryland at Navistar Direct, one of the largest and most technologically advanced printing and mailing facilities in the country. GCLI members Paul Buohl and Fred Mitchell of Navistar Direct will serve as hosts and will provide tours of their expansive operation. Workshop topics will focus on building and sustaining a winning organizational culture.
The Graphic Communications Leadership Institute (GCLI) is a rigorous, cutting-edge leadership development program specifically designed to prepare the next generation of industry managers with a well-rounded foundation in leadership and managerial expertise while developing a valuable peer network. Rising industry professionals develop their skills through a comprehensive three-year program, consisting of four quarterly workshops, each one focusing on core elements of business management and organizational leadership. The group meets at various locations including leading industry manufacturers/suppliers and at some of the industry’s finest service providers.
