Inkcups to Display Top-of-the-Line Printing Systems at Impressions Expo 2023

Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, Mass. - Global printing industry leader Inkcups will demo one digital drinkware machine, four of its leading Tagless pad printers and one laser etching machine at Impressions Expo 2023. Recognized as the industry’s premier and most advanced decorated apparel trade show, the event will be held January 20-22, 2023, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. For the first time ever, Inkcups will be located at two booths instead of one: booths #660 and #737.

The Inkcups Digital booth (#660) will host the Helix ONE, Inkcups’ newest addition to its Helix® line of direct-to-object printers. With a compact design, the Helix ONE is a dedicated cylinder printing machine designed to decorate in full CMYKW+V on straight-walled and tapered cylinders. Given its size, the benchtop machine is well suited for small to medium apparel companies looking to expand their business into drinkware printing. The Helix ONE is ideal for a variety of vessels including plastic bottles, stainless tumblers, acrylic cups, candle holders and more.

As the second largest market for custom decoration after apparel, drinkware is the perfect next step for apparel companies looking to differentiate their product mix. Some benefits of drinkware printing include adding a new product to increase customer orders, flexible inventory and the ability to keep up with rapidly changing trends.

The Inkcups Tagless booth (#737) will feature the company’s Brite, B100, B150, 2200-PS Tagless pad printers and CobaltONE laser etching machine. The Inkcups Digital booth (#660) will feature the HelixONE. During the show, the Brite machine will produce high-quality prints on black polyester apparel while the others print on white T-shirts; the CobaltONE will demonstrate its plate-etching capabilities; and the Helix ONE will print on acrylic cups.

The Brite Tagless printing machine achieves unparalleled white opacity becoming the solution to printing bright white on dark materials. The patented Brite process is the combination of a pad printing machine with an updated pad module and a highly-opaque Brite ink.

An Inkcups best seller, the B100 pad printer is a tabletop, one-color machine equipped with a tagless garment fixture printing images up to 80 mm (3.15 inches). It features the patented VersaCup® ink cup assembly, with two-sided ceramic ring and tool-less set up to support rapid job changeover. As the go-to garment labeling machine, the B100 is perfect for demanding, heavy-duty apparel decorating and label needs.

The B150 large-image pad printer is a versatile, benchtop printer for large image tagless one-color applications. The B150 is designed of the highest caliber due to its ability to house a 150mm VersaCup®, producing a 140 mm (5.5 inch) print. A go-to pad printer for tagless applications, many apparel printers incorporate this machine into their production line to print larger logos and care labels onto the neck labels of T-shirts, childrenswear, and more.

The 2200-PS is a two-color pad printer equipped with a heavy-duty, dual-position pneumatic pad-slide mechanism. The pad slide simplifies part fixturing and ensures flawless second-color registration on apparel items. The 2200-PS’s membrane touch control also simplifies the set-up process. Ideal for larger volumes, the 2200-PS pad printer utilizes a 90mm VersaCup® ink cup assembly printing images up to 80 mm (3.15 inches). This machine is the best solution for 2-color care label printing.

The last machine in booth #737 is the fiber laser etching machine, the CobaltONE. This compact machine etches the finest detail in the industry and has the ability to support multiple pad printing machines in a production facility.
