RAYONG, Thailand – Recently, TotalEnergies Corbion’s performance was formally recognized by various ministries of the Thai Government and Ecovadis, for its production safety, environmental, and social corporate responsibility. At TotalEnergies Corbion, we have the motto: Do the right thing, think safety first. The implementation of both TotalEnergies Golden Rules and Corbion Safety Rules over the years, has led to zero accidents, as well as outstanding safety, health, and environmental performance.

The Ministry of Labor of Thailand, through the Thai Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and its Welfare and Labor Protection department, promotes safety and environmental performance by awarding companies for consecutive years of performance excellence. In 2022, TotalEnergies Corbion was awarded for outstanding achievement in occupational safety health and working environment.

The Ministry of Industry of Thailand, recognizing the significance of environmental impact management, awards companies that adhere to the 3Rs program: reduce, reuse, and recycle. In this category, TotalEnergies Corbion was nominated for significantly lowering the quantity of PLA lump removal, created by the PLA production process, through reprocessing and returning PLA lumps to the manufacturing process.

Furthermore, TotalEnergies Corbion received the “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award” by the Ministry of Industry of Thailand, Department of Industrial Works, as a company that meets the standards and guidelines of the Department of Industrial Works in addition to the International CSR standard ISO26000.

For the third year in a row, TotalEnergies Corbion has received EcoVadis’s top ratings to drive global supply chain sustainability. EcoVadis provides holistic sustainability ratings service of companies, covering four areas: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
