Manages the Trade Cooperation together with Thomas Meurers
RGF - The Multipliers, Cologne–Sascha Gleich starts at the RGF. With effect from the first of April 2023, he will head the RGF consortium together with Thomas Meurers. Of the four Specialty Printing Clusters of the cooperation (explanation below, please see Info RGF), Sascha will take over the focus segments Labeling/Packaging and Light Production Printing. Thomas Meurers continues to focus on the Textile and Office Solutions segments. He also remains the contact person for the cooperations that the RGF maintains with friendly association groups.
Sascha Gleich looks back on a career of over thirty years in technology, sales and management. He was significantly involved in the development and market launch in 2012 of OKI‘s then revolutionary white toner systems for T-shirt transfer. Equally in 2019 in the development and launch of the OKI Pro1040 colour label printer and additionally with white Pro1050. Most recently, Sascha was responsible for supporting marketing and sales in EMEA for the Label Printing, Transfer Printing and Light Production Printing product ranges at OKI Europe in London.
Sascha Gleich was born 1970 in Düsseldorf. He lives in Düsseldorf with his wife and two daughters. Sascha is a passionate golfer and suffering supporter of Fortuna Düsseldorf.
The Specialty Printing Cluster
1. Labeling/Packaging brings together the solutions marketed for digital colour label printing and for printing on various packaging by the qualified RGF members.
2. Light Production Printing comprises various production and large format printing solutions mainly from partners EPSON, OKI, Ricoh and EFI.
3. Textile: The RGF line-up in this segment includes DTG and DTF solutions, as well as web printing solutions for sublimation and direct to fabric.
4. Office Solutions is a cross-selling segment for the RGF. As an HP Master Dealer, the RGF thus offers its members the opportunity to serve their customers as comprehensively as possible with printing solutions. The partnership with Büroring eG is one of the current cooperative group partnerships for this segment. The members of Büroring and the RGF benefit equally from the cooperation at the level of the association group headquarters.
In 2023, a new course will be set within the segments. New strategic partnerships with attractive solutions for the RGF affiliated houses will strengthen the positioning of the specialist retailers and make them crisis-proof for the future.
About RGF – The Multipliers
Founded in 1985 as the registered association „Ring Grafischer Fachhändler“ by eleven specialist dealers at the time, the RGF has accompanied the digitisation of the graphic arts industry from the very beginning. Over the decades, its role has changed and expanded considerably. Today, under the label „RGF - The Multipliers“, it acts as a central marketing agency and negotiates and administers numerous supply contracts with renowned manufacturers on behalf of the now 40 specialist dealers.
With the takeover of the GmbH by Thomas Meurers in 2009, numerous new focuses were set. On one hand, the RGF opened up to independent consultants, six of whom are now members, and on the other hand, it increased its manufacturer-independent competence.
Furthermore, the RGF responded to technological developments in the printing industry by setting up so-called Specialty Printing Clusters. Here, coherent solutions - consisting of hardware, software, consumables and expertise - are developed for special applications. They play a central role in securing the future viability of the RGF.
