TLMI Brings Members Together at Association’s Committee Summit in Orlando, FL

Press release from the issuing company

Nashville, TN: TLMI announces that the association is holding this year’s Annual Committee Summit November 30 – December 1 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. Due to repeated requests from membership, the association has made the decision to move the timing of the Committee Summit to an end-of-year event to allow additional networking opportunities for TLMI members in 2022 and to optimize strategic planning timelines for the association’s committees.

The TLMI Committee Summit is a longstanding annual event bringing members together to fine tune their committee’s objectives and goals for the coming year and to discuss the ways in which TLMI can continue to meet the requirements of our converter and supplier members. The following association committees will be represented at the Summit: Marketing, Membership, Regulatory Affairs, Sustainability, Technical, and Workforce Development. The Summit is open to all TLMI converter and supplier members, and a member does not already need to be active on a committee to attend. Each year numbers of undecided members attend the Summit to help them in their decision-making process as to which committee they would like to join.

TLMI President, Linnea Keen, comments, “TLMI has had an extremely successful Annual Meeting in Phoenix recently and I’m thrilled so many of us will be together again in Orlando this year. The energy at the Annual Meeting was palpable and our members repeatedly express how important it is that the association provides networking opportunities throughout the year. The Committee Summit does just this, with the additional benefit of allowing each committee’s members the opportunity to develop and plan their strategies for the coming year. Our committees are an essential part of TLMI’s continued success and I encourage people who are interested to join us, to participate, and to find which committee ignites their own personal passions and interests. More information can be found on TLMI’s website and in the TLMI Community Member Portal. I look forward to seeing everyone soon in Orlando. If you are planning on attending, I highly encourage you to book a room now. TLMI has a block of rooms reserved but the TLMI room rate expires on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 and cannot be extended.”
