Press release from the issuing company
Minneapolis, MN — SeaChange will soon be the first Minnesota printer to install the W&D 410 Easy Enveloper. This high-speed converting equipment from Winkler + Dünnebier will allow SeaChange to create envelopes in house for clients – speeding up print projects and eliminating the supply chain issues and quality variation that can come from relying on outside vendors.
The Easy Enveloper offers a wide range of customization options and works for small to large runs. It can produce everything from more standard envelopes to those with windows and unique die cuts. Paired with SeaChange’s other equipment, it can also offer spot UV, foil, soft touch, and other coatings creating envelopes that stand out in the mailbox and get opened. It can handle a wide range of stocks from cost-efficient papers to linen stock.
“Not having to wait for envelopes to be produced elsewhere provides flexibility with turn times,” says Floyd Stanley, VP of operations. “It also eliminates the need to hold excessive inventory, which can save our client’s money and avoid any waste that comes from envelopes getting too old to use or artwork changing.”
Wendi Breuer, president and CEO of SeaChange, notes that the purchase is part of SeaChange’s ongoing investment in equipment, technology, and IT infrastructure. “We’re pleased to be a single-source solution for our clients and provide high-quality envelopes tailored to their unique projects.”
The W&D 410 Easy Enveloper will be installed in 2023.
