Coastal Container Chooses eProductivity Software as its Technology Partner in Digital Transformation

Press release from the issuing company

Coastal Container invests in the eProductivity Software Corrugated Packaging Suite to empower waste reduction and drive performance

PITTSBURGH, PA - eProductivity Software (ePS), announced today that Coastal Container, a full-service packaging company based in Holland, MI, has invested in eProductivity Software CorrTrim® and CorrTrack® software solutions from its Corrugated Packaging Suite. The investment will deliver value to the new corrugator, empowering Coastal to maximise its operational efficiency while reducing costs and waste in the process- a key business win during a high inflation and high energy costs market.

Coastal Container announced expansion plans earlier this year that include an additional 65,000 square feet of new manufacturing space, the installation of a new corrugator, and a new rail spur for the delivery of paper rolls. Director of Operations Bill Cessna commented on the investment: “As a company, we constantly look to technology to address the needs of our business today and plan for tomorrow.”

“Having observed results from other corrugated box plants using CorrTrim and CorrTrack, we identified that the advanced systems would allow us to run faster and more efficiently, reducing waste and costs, while giving us scheduling and tracking visibility from paper to box. The solution fits with our sustainability strategy and ambitious growth plans.”

“As a new supplier to Coastal, we are impressed with eProductivity Software; the team have demonstrated an understanding of our business and goals which has allowed us to quickly build trust. ePS is adaptable in its sales approach and can integrate with our existing systems. We have full confidence in them as a technology partner for our future.” Concludes Cessna.

Chris Wood, Head of North America Packaging Sales, at ePS commented: “We are delighted to have Coastal Container on board. Working with customers who take steps to transform their business from a sheet plant to a box plant is not common, and it’s a privilege to have the opportunity in helping realize their vision. We look forward to supporting them as a partner on the journey ahead.

The new system is expected to go live in mid-2023 in conjunction with the new corrugator.
