Palo Alto, Calif. – Few letterpress printers enjoy the global following that Minnesota’s Studio On Fire does today, and Chicago designers will find out why at the PaperSpecs Live mini design conference Sept. 15th! There they will be able to create their own letterpress piece under the watchful eye of Studio On Fire’s experts using an authentic handpress.

“So much of design is about community, and few things get print designers as excited as taking turns using a real letterpress,” explains PaperSpecs Founder Sabine Lenz. “We all know how important the tactile qualities of a print piece are, but there’s also something quite profound about producing a piece with one’s own hands, too. We’re so grateful to Studio On Fire for bringing this experience to PaperSpecs Live in Chicago.”
