Smyrna, Georgia – The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) hosted its annual imPRESS Celebration of Print to recognize the winners of the 2022 Print Excellence Competition (PEC) at Zoo Atlanta on August 4. The competition honors top quality printed materials for their fine craftsmanship, creativity, and cutting-edge technology. Over 245 entries were submitted and judged by two seasoned, out of state printing professionals.

“This year’s Print Excellence Competition demonstrates that high quality, innovative work continues in Georgia even during challenging times,” said Jon Krueger, PIAG President & CEO. “I’m proud of the outstanding work our members produce, and I was excited for our community to gather and celebrate together.”
In addition, PIAG announced Kent Tucker, Tucker Castleberry as their 2022 Benjamin Franklin Award Recipient. First presented by PIAG in 1958, this award is the highest honor presented in Georgia’s printing industry and recognizes an individual for their major, long-term contributions to our industry and their community. Kent receiving this award marks the first time three generations have been recognized with this honor, with his grandfather receiving the award in 1985 and his father in 1998.
Since 1894, The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) has been dedicated to advancing the success of Georgia’s printing and graphic communications industry.
