The Big Idea Gator Business Plan Competition Featured the University’s Brightest Entrepreneurs
TAMPA, Fla. – Proforma, the $500 million technology and business success leader, was recently honored to send Vera Muzzillo, CEO, to judge the final round of the University of Florida’s (UF) Big Idea Gator Business Plan Competition.
“One of the biggest reasons this competition is such a success each year is the caliber of judges in the room,” said Jamie Kraft, Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at UF’s Warrington College of Business. “We’re excited to count Vera Muzzillo among that elite group.”
The competition is a celebration of student entrepreneurs with big dreams and the courage and passion to pursue those dreams. The business plans they submitted serve as a vehicle to help students learn how to form, adjust, modify, and otherwise adapt their idea into something that can work and become financially viable.
“It was such a pleasure to play a role in helping the next generation of entrepreneurs as they follow their dreams,” explained Vera Muzzillo, Proforma’s CEO. “Seeing these students in action presenting their business plans was inspiring and even reminded me of myself as a college student.”
