INX to Highlight Color Perfection Program and INX University at GulfCan Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL – As the industry leader in metal decorating technology, INX International Ink Co. receives many inquiries from brand owners and can makers covering a wide range of subjects. Two areas that have grown significantly in the last year are the INX Color Perfection program and INX University, the free educational platform. Those subjects will be topics of conversation at the GulfCan Conference, May 24-26 in Dubai, U.A.E.

Two- and three-piece can makers attending the conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel will want to attend Sarah Jacks’ presentation, INX Color Perfection – A Global Update, on Thursday, May 26 at 11 a.m. The INX Color Perfection Manager, Jacks says more than 300 brand owners, designers and metal decorators are now relying on the INX 2-piece Color Catalog as part of the INX Color Perfection program. Her discussion will explain the latest updates and how can manufacturers are using vital elements to improve their practices.

“INX Color Perfection is experiencing a positive impact globally. Brands can quickly communicate with their various teams around the world internally, and to their can manufacturers as needed,” said Jacks. “We have seen an impressive increase in brand and design agencies adopt the tools of our program in recent months.”

The INX 2-Piece Color Catalog serves as the catalyst for the program. The only true color standard for beverage can design printed directly on metal, it improves color efficiency and helps get labels to market quicker by reducing lead times. These aspects, combined with access to the Digital Color Library, Digital Proofing capabilities and Best-In-Class Ink product availability, have sparked greater appeal with can makers in Europe.

“Interest has definitely grown. Can makers looked at the old way of on-press approvals and determined the time involved was a main contributor to lost production,” said Benjamin Grant, Managing Director of INX Europe – U.K. “In an age where the brand owner must continually evolve to capture the interest of the consumer, INX Color Perfection is definitely the way forward in eliminating production downtime for the can maker. It also provides the brand owner with maximum flexibility and the capability to produce the designs they desire.”

Grant indicated that interest in INX University has become massively popular with his customers. The online educational tool offers access to pertinent technical material, diagnostic data and professional development on all levels including beginner, advanced and refresher courses. Jacks, who will provide more information in her presentation, believes its success begins with the simplicity it offers, which allows users to log in themselves at any time.

“It’s grown in popularity since the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers found it to be convenient in assisting with their onboarding employee process and providing refresher training as needed with existing customers,” Jacks explained. “The flexibility INX University provides with its nine language options – and having the ability to learn a course at any time – has proven to be very appealing to our customers around the world.”
