Appointment underlines WoodWing’s growth ambitions
Amsterdam (The Netherlands) – WoodWing Software is pleased to announce Joris van Leeuwen has joined its board as the new Chief Commercial Officer.
Van Leeuwen is an experienced leader with a proven track record in the software industry. Most recently, as CCO at Unit4’s domestic business, he built strong, passionate teams that consistently over-delivered on growth, product development and business transformation. Van Leeuwen was also a driving force for the merger between Unit4 domestic business and Exact in 2020.
Van Leeuwen joins WoodWing at a time of growth and optimism, following their recent acquisitions of Scienta and Expansion, increasing their foothold in the Enterprise Information Management market.
His appointment will help the company to further integrate and streamline the combined sales and marketing operations, drive further growth, and create new business opportunities.
CEO Ross Paterson says: "After an extensive search, we’re delighted to welcome Joris as our CCO. Having strong commercial leadership is crucial for our profitable growth strategy and to help identify further M&A opportunities that match our global ambitions. This is exactly what Joris will bring to the team. His personality and track record in commercial leadership is impressive. I am excited to have Joris on board, working together with our full team to continue and expedite our growth.”
Joris van Leeuwen comments: "This is a great time to be joining WoodWing. The market is changing rapidly and customers' expectations are increasing. This presents huge potential and opportunities for innovative companies like WoodWing. The company occupies a unique position in a growth market, helping its customers globally with solutions for information and content management. I see great opportunities to grow in key sectors worldwide and I’m really happy to be joining the WoodWing team.”
Joris van Leeuwen joins WoodWing's Executive Board alongside Chief Executive Officer Ross Paterson, Chief Technology Officer Amanda van der Leest-Rasch, and Chief Financial Officer Michael Shaughnessy.
