EAE Appoints Robert Lugauer as CEO to Lead Both the Graphic and Intralogistics Divisions

Ahrensburg – EAE Engineering Automation Electronics GmbH (EAE) is pleased to announce that Robert Lugauer has been appointed the new CEO of the company, headquartered in Ahrensburg, Germany. As of January 1 of this year, Robert Lugauer has been leading both the graphic and intralogistics divisions (EAE Solutions) of EAE.

Robert Lugauer was born in southern Germany and graduated in mathematics at the University of Konstanz. He started his professional career in 1988 with Siemens R&D department, focusing on image processing and recognition systems for letters and parcels. After his time in algorithm and product development, Lugauer switched to customer project management and led CEP projects to success at home and abroad. After successful completion of a number of projects, he was appointed vice president customer projects for the sorting systems segment and later for baggage handling.

In 2014, Lugauer made the move to mid-size business and joined Interroll as the head of the Global Center of Excellence Conveying and Sorting and served as managing director of Interroll Automation GmbH. Under his leadership, the company saw significant revenue growth, several new products developed and launched, and substantial growth in the customer base.

Finally, as general manager, Robert Lugauer supported the integration of the Transnorm Group into Honeywell.

Robert Lugauer brings comprehensive know-how to EAE in the field of recognition systems and the intra-logistics industry. He has extensive experience in all operational and strategic business processes and will make a significant contribution to EAE’s growth strategy in the intra-logistics market and in EAE’s long-standing commitment to the print industry.
