November 5, 2021: TLMI announces that the association is holding its Annual Committee Summit December 2-3 at the Fairmont Hotel in Austin, TX this year. Due to the pandemic and traveling restrictions earlier in the year, in addition to requests from members for more networking opportunities in 2021, TLMI made the decision to move the timing of the Summit to next month instead of the event’s customary January date.
The TLMI Committee Summit is a longstanding annual event bringing members together to fine tune their committee’s objectives and goals for the coming year and to discuss the ways in which TLMI can continue to meet the requirements of our converter and supplier members. The following association committees will be represented at the Summit: Government & Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Membership, Sustainability, Technical, and Workforce Development. The Summit is open to all TLMI converter and supplier members and a member does not already need to be on a committee to attend. Each year numbers of undecided members attend the Summit to help them in their decision-making process as to which committee they would like to join.
TLMI President, Linnea Keen, comments, “Having just had an extremely successful Annual Meeting last month, TLMI continues to bring our members together at the upcoming Committee Summit in Austin. We changed the timing of the event to December this year since our committees have had so little opportunity to meet face-to-face due to the events of the past two years. TLMI’s committees remain the heart of this association and the Summit is a unique way that members can network with one another while mapping out our committee agendas for the coming year. We’ve had impressive numbers register already and I look forward to seeing everyone in Austin soon.”
