LAS VEGAS, NV — Print industry veteran Allan G. Creel is returning to the business with the acquisition of digital and marketing services provider Fenske Media. Creel was previously President of CREEL, a highly acclaimed, $120 million offset and digital print enterprise headquartered in Las Vegas.
As third-generation leadership, Creel is attributed with transforming his family-owned company from a traditional offset printer to an end-to-end print and marketing solutions partner with facilities across the nation. He spearheaded multiple acquisitions driving CREEL’s rapid expansion, which ultimately culminated into its purchase by a major industry player. Creel will now be leveraging his experience at Fenske Media as its President & CEO. The entity will retain its branding and staff, including its 4-person family leadership team who have been integral in its growth and success.
Established in 1957, Fenske delivers high-end, digital print and results-driven integrated media solutions to top buyers in the financial services, healthcare, and automotive arenas. It has a long and exemplary track record for its technology and innovations in cross-media marketing and is considered one of the pioneers of one-to-one communications. Fenske’s Rapid City, SD, facility houses some of most robust digital printing technology in the world.
“I’m excited to get back into printing and proud to be at the helm of one of the most impressive operations I’ve seen,” said Creel. “Fenske offers an extremely agile platform that can deliver buyers top-quality digital printing along with data-driven insights, analytics, and reporting tools to ensure the highest ROI on their print and marketing investment.”
“The Fenske leadership team and I share the same beliefs for craftsmanship, operational integrity, and environmental responsibility. This will be a tremendous match,” added Creel.
“Over the past decade, we’ve heard a lot of buzzwords and empty claims about delivering truly integrated, digital solutions in the printing industry,” said Dave Fenske, VP Business Development, Fenske Media. “We’ve been one of the few companies to deliver so far. This acquisition is key to our continued growth and expansion. Through our combined 130 years of printing leadership and aligned vision for the future of marketing services, we’ll be delivering best-in-class communications for customers nationwide.”
The acquisition was completed on October 20. Fenske will remain a private company. New Direction Partners represented Fenske Media in this transaction. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
