CreoScitex Europe on the Move

2/28/01 - CreoScitex Europe starts 2001 with its batteries fully loaded. Ever since the merger of Creo and Scitex in April 2000, much attention has been put to building a strong and homogeneous organisation that can serve the 12000 customers of CreoScitex around Europe in the most professional and efficient way. Leading this effort is a new management team that combines years of experience in each professional speciality with a long track record in the graphic arts industry. At the helm is Alon Lumbroso, Managing Director. He has spent most of his career with Scitex which he joined in 1985. Since then he has held a variety of positions in operations, sales, marketing and management. Before joining CreoScitex Europe Mr Lumbroso worked in the Asia Pacific region for the last four years. The position of Executive Vice President of Marketing is taken up by Boudewijn Neijens, the founder of Creo Europe back in 1994. Mr Neijens has 18 years of experience in the graphic arts industry at companies including Brepols, Crosfield and Optrotech. Managing sales in the 40 European countries where CreoScitex is present either directly or through partners – is Philippe Duviquet, Vice President of Sales. Mr Duviquet has held sales management positions at Creo, Optronics and Tektronix for the last 15 years. Yves Moens is the Director of Business Operations for CreoScitex Europe. Prior to joining Creo in June 1998, Mr Moens worked for Agfa Gevaert, Digital Equipment, Apple and Compaq where he held different leadership positions in sales, marketing and customer services. Karen Maman holds the position of Vice President Finance. She has 13 years of professional experience and prior to this position in CreoScitex she worked for five years at Creo Israel. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA in Economics & Accounting. The Customer Support organisation, which employs over 400 people around Europe, is led by Paul Kelly. He joined Scitex in 1998 as Vice President Customer Support and has held similar positions previously at companies such as Ricoh and Gestetner. Michel Couchard is Vice President Human Resources and Organisation. He joined Scitex in 1998, prior to this date he had more than 25 years of professional experience in various industries such as Procter&Gamble, American Hospital Supply, Swift and other.
