Webprint Partners with Adobe to Fuel Network Publishing Category

New York City, NY--February 28, 2001--On Demand Expo: Webprint, Inc., a business-to-business, e-commerce provider for on-demand printers and Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced an agreement through which the two companies will collaborate to deliver products and services to enable the emerging Internet printing market. As part of the alliance, Webprint will integrate Adobe(R) Portable Document Format (PDF) and other Internet printing technologies from Adobe with Webprint's own customized, desktop-to-delivery solutions for digital printers, enabling streamlined, reliable job submission. The products resulting from the alliance will provide end-users and print buyers with affordable, error-free job submission by uniting the functionality of a print driver with the flexibility, robustness, and familiarity of a standard web browser. Targeted initially for short-run, on demand printing services this breakthrough product and network printing service, is intended to make the submission and ordering of printed material as simple, secure and reliable as printing to a local desktop printer. "Our agreement with Adobe is a significant event for Webprint and we are excited to support Adobe and Network Publishing," said Tom White, CEO of Webprint. "By integrating Adobe PDF technology into Webprint's e-commerce solutions, printers can minimize the problems associated with customer-prepared files while improving their bottom line profitability and operating efficiency." Under the terms of the agreement, Webprint will integrate the latest Adobe Internet printing and PDF technology into its core product and service offerings for on demand printers. Both companies will jointly market these products. In addition, Webprint (booth# 1031) and Adobe (booth# 635) will demonstrate the solution, for the first time publicly, at the On Demand Strategy Conference and Exposition, February 28 through March 2, 2001, at Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York, NY.
