One of her key meeting was with key officials from Konica-Minolta to review the potential to expand their current operations in Michigan. Meeting with Governor Granholm was a contingent of company officers headed by Yoshikatsu Ota, President and CEO, Konica Minolta Holdings.  At the meeting Konica Minolta explained the progress they have made in the Konica Minolta Graphic Imaging U.S.A. Grand Rapids facility. This included relocation of their headquarters from New York to Michigan. This was in conjunction with the construction and start up of a third printing plate manufacturing line.
