Xeikon Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

Mortsel, Belgium, 2001/02/21 - Xeikon N.V. [NASDAQ: XEIK], the world’s leading supplier of production digital printing systems for a wide range of commercial and industrial printing applications, today announced the appointment of Mr. Gerrit Keyaerts, 50, as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Keyaerts was most recently the Vice President of Finance for the Dairy Products Division Worldwide, the biggest revenue and profit contributor of the Paris-based Danone Group [NYSE: DA]. Prior to joining Danone in 1996, Mr. Keyaerts worked for 10 years with Benckiser GmbH, most recently as the Finance Director of the Household & Cleaning Division. Mr. Keyaerts holds a degree in commercial and financial sciences from the VLEKHO Institute in Brussels. At Xeikon, Mr.
