HUDSON, N.H., Feb. 22 Presstek, Inc., the leading developer of thermal direct imaging and printing plate technologies for the printing and graphic arts industries, announced that Stan Najmr has been appointed Director, DI Marketing promoting Presstek's DIRECT Imaging products worldwide. Najmr, previously with Scitex America Corp. (now CreoScitex), will be responsible for both promoting Presstek's DI capability to press manufacturers worldwide, as well as managing existing DI customer and partner projects. "Stan Najmr is unquestionably a well-respected graphic arts industry veteran, and is a significant addition to Presstek's product marketing team. He brings unique understanding and expertise that will undoubtedly enhance Presstek's leadership position in the digital imaging arena," says Efrem Lieber, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Support. Najmr had already spent twelve years at Scitex America when the merger with Creo Products occurred. Among his achievements at Scitex, where he held a number of product marketing and technical training positions, were the highly successful launches of the Lotem platesetter and Brisque workflow.
