2/14/01 - Enfocus Software, makers of PDF tools including popular PitStop, is making On Demand (booth # 2425) the venue for its first public display of its new Certify PDF plug-in to Adobe Acrobat, based on Enfocusí recently-developed Certified PDF Workflow technology. The Certified PDF Workflow including the Certify PDF plug-in addresses common PDF workflow problems with advanced techniques that 1. streamline the PDF workflow, 2. track responsibility, and 3. maintain document consistency between the final production file and the original application file. The new Certify PDF product and Certified Workflow technology allow files to be checked for production compliance early in the process, and all along the way. It maintains a record of changes and responsibilities in a very transparent way. At On Demand, attendees will also see new versions of the entire Enfocus product line now updated to include support for the Enfocus Certified PDF workflow. PitStop Professional, PitStop Server, PowerUp PDF and WebPerfect PDF all participate in the Certified Workflow by reading the certified stamp -thus eliminating redundant preflight, starting the Certified Workflow, contributing to the edit log, and in the case of WebPerfect, removing all Certified info.
