The NovaJet 850 printing technology delivers eight print heads, MicroBurst™ technology, a Dynamic Thermal Drying System™, (DTD™), 100base-T connection, and an automatic take-up and paper sensor. Ultra-Fi and Octachrome Inks The NovaJet 850 offers users the ability to print in four, six, or eight-color modes using any of ENCAD’s high-performance inks: GS PLUS™ (Graphic Standard PLUS™), a high-gamut indoor dye-based ink; GX™ (Graphic Extend™), a lightfast indoor dye-based ink; and GO™ (Graphic Outdoor™), an indoor/outdoor pigment-based ink.  Ultra-Fi eight-color ink configurations, for GS PLUS and GX, include two levels of cyan and magenta dilutions.  They deliver dramatically improved smoothness within tonal gradations.  Octachrome eight-color ink configurations, which include orange and green as well as dilutions of magenta and cyan, are available for GX and GO.
