SHELTON, Conn-Feb. 12, 2001--Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (ASE:BLD) announced today that Henry F. McInerney was elected to the company's Board of Directors at a Board Meeting held last week. McInerney is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Verification Technologies Inc. (Veritec), a private company which markets technology to protect brand equity through detection of counterfeit products and packaging as well as product diversion. From 1995 to 1998, McInerney was Chief Executive Officer of Earthgro, Inc. From 1984 to 1995, he held various executive positions with Tetley, Inc. in Shelton, starting as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, becoming President and Chief Operating Officer in 1986, and President and Chief Executive Officer in 1987.
