GretagMacbeth Announces Strategic Partnership with Digital Now

Orlando, FL, February 13, 2001 – GretagMacbeth, the leading color management solutions provider, and Digital Now, a leading developer of digital imaging technology and Internet solutions for the photo processing industry, today announced a strategic partnership. With this partnership, Digital Now will bundle and integrate GretagMacbeth’s Color Management solution into their scanner solutions. The partnership enables photo imaging customers to access best-of-breed color management solutions to increase overall photo scanning and reproduction quality. The announcement was made at the Photo Marketing Association show, currently under way in Orlando, Florida.
Digital Now will integrate GretagMacbeth's Color Management solution, containing ProfileMaker™, BatchMatcher™, and iCColor™, into their Print to Print scanner ReproPrint™ 2.5. This allows photo labs to get high quality reprints in a consistent production. GretagMacbeth's Color Management engine will also be integrated into the dry film scanner of Digital Now in order to get high quality digital data.
