Former VIO President Joins Kodak Polychrome Graphics

Norwalk, Conn. 2/7/01- Jeff Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of Kodak Polychrome Graphics, today announced the appointment of Vic Stalam as Vice President, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. "Vic is the consummate graphic arts marketing and business development professional," said Jacobson. "His track record of developing and introducing new products and technology - including the Kodak Approval digital halftone color proofing system - is outstanding. Vic is a valuable addition to Kodak Polychrome Graphics and our continuing success as a graphic arts industry solutions provider." As an Officer of the company and a member of the Leadership Team, Stalam will provide direction to Kodak Polychrome Graphics’ strategic business planning and development strategies. He will focus on long-term planning, growth opportunities in traditional, hybrid and digital technology development, strategic business alliances, industry relationships and trends, and worldwide strategic marketing. Prior to joining Kodak Polychrome Graphics, Stalam was President and Chief Operating Officer of VIO North America, a joint venture providing telecommunications and application services to graphic arts customers. He spent 17 years with Eastman Kodak Company, where he advanced through positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and senior management – including General Manager and Vice President – Digital Products and Systems, Kodak Professional Division; Director and Vice President – Integrated Imaging Solutions, Kodak Professional & Printing Imaging. At Kodak, Stalam provided the leadership for the successful launch of several innovative products including the Lionheart family of document management systems, providing high-speed printing capability for centralized duplicating departments and the Approval digital halftone color proofing system. His career then lead him to the digital printing company, Xyan.com, where he served as Vice President of Marketing Sales.
