PGSF Kicks Off Year-End Giving with T-Shirt Giveaway

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is wrapping up the 2020 year with a year-end giving t-shirt giveaway. Donors that contribute $100 or more can receive a PGSF t-shirt designed by Abigail Carter of Mattoon High School in Illinois, and printed by Denver Print House, a Colorado-based screen printing and embroidery shop. PGSF is setting a goal of $50,000 in contributions by the end of 2020, which would fund up to 20 new scholarships.

Contributions to PGSF support its mission of attracting and supporting the future workforce and current employees seeking advanced learning in the graphic communications industry. PGSF makes it easy to donate. Contributions can be made by check or credit card as a one-time donation, or they can be set up to recur on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

“As the year draws to a close, we are asking those in the graphic communications industry to consider a donation to the PGSF of any amount. We need to be able to continue supporting our current and future workforce, and there is no better way than in helping students fund their education in this industry,” comments Jeff White, Director of Development, PGSF.

PGSF receives donations from individuals as well as large corporations. Contributions can be made to a new or an existing endowed fund established in the name of a person, organization, or local area, or as a memorial or honorary gift for someone in the industry. Individuals can also make a gift to PGSF through a bequest in a will.

To date, EFI, GLGA Foundation, Graphic Arts Alliance, Print America, Bruce Tietz, Alcom, Nova and many other individuals and companies have funded permanent endowed scholarships that make it possible for the organization to deliver scholarships to students. Heidelberg, Dunlap, and PIAG contribute to annual scholarship programs.
