Komori America to Showcase how Customers are Leveraging the Latest Offset and Digital Packaging Solutions at the Digital Packaging Summit

Press release from the issuing company

Rolling Meadows, Ill. – Komori America—Komori America, a Silver sponsor at the upcoming Digital Packaging Summit, announced it will be sharing the latest packaging solutions print providers are implementing to meet customer demands and increase revenue. The Digital Packaging Summit, being held virtually December 1-3, is designed to help industry leaders propel their technology strategy forward with the latest strategic insights and advances in production printing technology, software and solutions.

In its virtual booth, Komori America will share a case study featuring both of Komori’s inkjet printing solutions: the Impremia NS40 and the Impremia IS29. Shinwa Factory is the first beta site for Komori’s 40-inch sheetfed Nanographic Printing® system, the Impremia NS40. Shinwa Factory is a manufacturing company with annual sales revenue of 3.2 billion yen that provides across-the-board services that include designing creative packaging, displays, promotional sales material and high volumes of printing, processing and delivery. The case study will cover the goals the company had in testing the NS40 and the many advantages the press is delivering, from short-run packaging to reducing manual steps and costs, yet still maintaining the high quality of offset printing.

Additionally, Michael Zienty, electronic prepress and pressroom manager at Premier Press, a woman-owned business that provides creative design, production and fulfillment, will be joining Komori America during the Summit to discuss the success Premier Press is experiencing in digital packaging with the installation of the Komori Impremia IS29. As an early adopter of digital print technologies, Zienty will cover how Premier Press is leveraging the capabilities of Komori’s IS29 to offer new and creative services that include unique packaging products on a wide variety of substrates.
