McMahon, executive vice president, Production Print Solutions, Canon Solutions America, Inc., said, “Canon Solutions America, Production Print Solutions, is proud to be a sponsor of the Commercial Inkjet Day of the PRINTING United Digital Experience. While we all wish we could be in person at industry events, we are happy to see our industry rally and recognize the importance of getting together virtually to learn about emerging technologies that can help print service providers remain competitive and successful amidst a challenging business environment. We’ve all adjusted this year and now we are focused on moving forward.

“PRINTING United embodies the notion of forward progress, and we’re excited to showcase our newly launched Canon VarioPRINT iX-series Sheetfed inkjet press. Attendees of the Commercial Inkjet Day will be the first large-scale viewers of a virtual press demo of this groundbreaking device that can truly deliver on commercial quality imaging from an inkjet press.”

HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD
The HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD is a high-volume production inkjet web press that offers uncompromising image quality across a broad range of applications. Offset-class print quality is produced from this first press featuring HP Brilliant Ink. The T250 HD enables more applications — commercial, direct mail, publishing, and transactional — by printing directly to uncoated and coated offset media, all in one press.

“With the new HP Brilliant Ink available on the HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD, HP continues to innovate and deliver lasting value to our customers,” said Jamie Sirois, HP PageWide Web Press Americas Category Business Manager. “PRINTING United Digital Inkjet Day is a great forum to showcase this technology and share these innovations with the world. We look forward to more great sessions.”

That’s why we call it inkjet reimagined.”

RICOH Pro VC70000
The RICOH Pro VC70000 Continuous-Feed Inkjet Printer sets a new standard in high-speed print production for quality and productivity on offset coated paper. This award-winning platform helps accelerate the transfer of offset print volumes to digital, with patented drying technology that allows for greater ink coverage and faster drying times for higher print quality and quicker turns. The RICOH Pro VC70000 offers new Ricoh-developed extended gamut inks, enabling up to 40% savings in paper costs while also making it possible to print onto a variety of different types of stocks without pre- or post-coating. Flexible media support for papers from 40 to 250 gsm empowers commercial printers to produce quality applications, such as high-end catalogs and magazines, traditionally expected from offset presses.

“Events like PRINTING United have always provided a unique avenue for connecting with customers and our community, and we’re excited to participate in this year’s PRINTING United Digital Experience,” said Heather Poulin, Vice President, Marketing, Production Printing, Ricoh USA, Inc. “This event has been forced to transform from an in-person event to a digital experience, but our primary objective remains the same. Today and always, we want to take the opportunity to showcase how we build long-term alliances and how we move businesses forward to help drive success during, through and after this difficult time. From providing vendor agnostic Professional Services, like Campaign Services, Security Conformance, and many others, to delivering key insights and training to help maximize the opportunity the wide format space offers, we have the tools and expertise businesses need. We are here to help them adapt and succeed – and PRINTING United will continue to be a powerful way to demonstrate that commitment.”
