PrintImage Announces Peer Network for Young Printing Professionals

Chicago, IL, "PrintImage International" formerly the National
Association of Quick Printers (NAQP)˜has announced the formation of a new
peer network of particular interest to younger printers. The
group "designated YPP, for Young Printing Professionals" will hold its
initial meeting at the PrintImage International annual conference in
Orlando, Florida, February 9-14, 2001.
In announcing formation of the new group, PrintImage International
president & CEO Steve Johnson commented, "While cynics often characterize
the printing industry as a sunset industry, we find that more and more
quick printers, copy shops, and small format commercial printers are
owned and managed by younger men and women. These newcomers to the
printing industry are especially computer literate and able to
accommodate the high technology needs of today‚s business print buyers.
PrintImage International has formed the Young Printing Professionals peer
network in response to the business and technology needs of this group."
