New role created to invest in UK growth

Kern, the mailing and packaging equipment specialist, today announced the appointment of David Cox as UK Head of Sales. The new role has been created to strengthen Kern’s position in the UK market and capitalise on recent product additions. David was previously Northern District Sales Manager at Neopost UK.

Reporting to Uli Kern, President and Managing Director of the Kern Group, David is responsible for driving sales of Kern’s high-speed mailing, smart locker and packaging solutions, working with a new dedicated team at Kern’s HQ in Switzerland focused on driving worldwide expansion.

The sales focus will be around Kern’s core strengths, including its high-end mailing inserters such as the new multi-format K3800; Kern’s Smart Terminals, which allow consumers to collect or drop-off parcels, food or medicines; and Kern’s award-winning PackOnTime solution, which automatically packages items ready for shipping by creating custom cardboard boxes on demand.

With more than 20 years of sales and marketing leadership in regional and national roles, David was previously Northern District Sales Manager at Neopost UK, where he was responsible for managing the sales operation at the digital communications, logistics and mail solutions company.
