Press release from the issuing company
ROCHESTER, NY - Videk has entered into joint technology activities with Heidelberg, both companies announced today. The initial project is to add Videk's integrated print vision verification technology to Heidelberg’s Digimaster 9110 black & white digital printing systems.
The addition of Videk's vision systems to Heidelberg products such as the Digimaster 9110 will provide transactional printers with enhanced security and print verification capabilities. This accessory further enhances Heidelberg's one-to-one marketing print applications by enabling the merging of variable data document content with matching individualized finishing applications. Videk and Heidelberg will work together to jointly present their products at industry trade shows.
“Videk is very excited about this new relationship,” said Tom Slechta, president, Videk. “We expect to quickly lay the groundwork in developing innovative vision solutions that will be tightly integrated with the Heidelberg cut sheet printers and overall system.”
"Heidelberg is committed to continued growth and technology leadership in high-volume production digital printing," said Len Christopher, Vice President Workflow Solutions at Heidelberg. "We are continuing to pursue new market space opportunities, and the integration of Videk's technology with our Digimaster platform provides a powerful transactional printing solution for applications in the financial, insurance, and medical industry segments."
