Press release from the issuing company
Cambridge UK – Global Graphics‘ companies Global Graphics Software, Meteor Inkjet and Xitron are accelerating their drupa product launches despite the postponement of the show and the pre-drupa media conference that precedes it.
“We stand shoulder to shoulder with our industry colleagues, partners and employees during this difficult period and look forward to participating in drupa in April of next year. In the meantime we are not treading water, ” says Global Graphics’ CEO Mike Rottenborn. “In fact, we are accelerating our plans to launch Direct, a major new software platform for digital presses, with a worldwide ‘virtual’ rollout scheduled for 28 April.
“Direct is the first fully integrated product line from Global Graphics, featuring our unparalled Harlequin RIP® technology, Mako™ for file optimization, our award-winning ScreenPro™ and PrintFlat™ products for inkjet digital printing, tight integration with printhead drive electronics and software from Meteor Inkjet, workflow for labels and packaging from our partner HYBRID Software, and the global reseller network of our newest subsidiary, Xitron.”
The three companies in the Global Graphics group that will exhibit at drupa 2021 are: Global Graphics Software, the developers of the Harlequin RIP® and core technology components for digital presses; Meteor Inkjet, developers of industrial inkjet printhead driver solutions, and pre-press specialists Xitron who supply the Navigator RIP and other products to print providers and OEMs around the world.
Global Graphics plans to resume normal trade show activity this Autumn with a group presence at LabelExpo Americas and Printing United.
